After completing two Master’s degrees, Walt Wolosiansky made his debut in the working world as an audiologist for an ear, nose and throat specialist. After a few years, he realized that in order to achieve his goal of personalized, convenient care he would have to devote time to learning everything he could about the hearing aid industry--the various devices, the unique fittings, and the need for customized service. He worked with Audiphone, a hearing aid dispensing business, for 5 years. He gained comfort and familiarity with the numerous manufacturers and devices, and earned valuable experience in serving hundreds of patients. Determined to serve clients in a better, more personalized way, Walt created Community Hearing Service in 1989. He designed the business from the ground up, dedicated to spending the necessary time to counsel clients and prescribing the most appropriate and cost-effective hearing aids solution. Walt and his staff have served thousands of clients during the last 25 years.
